Altair Inspire® Challenge #5: Prosthetic Knee Motion Analysis
This challenge is to run a structural analysis on one of the components of the model, using the motion resultant forces as a Load case.
Find the Prosthetic Knee project attached to this challenge.
Run a Motion Analysis in the Motion Ribbon, open the Motion Run Settings in the Analyze Motion icon, select an end time of 2.0 seconds, and run it. Once the motion analysis is done, review the animation. Now, use the Analyze Part tool to analyze the green component of the prosthetic knee assembly.
You can have more information about Running and Analysis on a Motion Part Here [https://help.altair.com/inspire/en_us/topics/inspire/motion/analyze_part_run_t.htm]
Level: Medium
Product Required: Altair Inspire
The solution can be attached in the comment section of this post. The desired output format is an image of a Plot showing the result of your choice vs. Time at the maximum result location, or a callout showing the maximum result of your choice in the structure.
Extra: Upload a screenshot with all the joint forces being displayed during motion animation. These are the forces used for your structural analysis.

Dear Matthew,
I am writing to request your kind attention to the attached motion analysis files, for the challenge. These files comprise the following components, as per your request:
1) A plot displaying the results of Von Mises Stresses versus time.
2) A callout highlighting the maximum displacement in the structure.
3) A comprehensive presentation of all joint forces recorded during the motion animation.
Warm regards,
Kunal P

Hi,
Here is my late result:
short answer: it is safe, it wound break. Von Mises dosen't exceed titanium yield stress.
1) Max dispalacment occures at 0,7 s with ~0,035 mm
2) Von Mises dosen't go over titanium yield stress
With titanium yield stress as max
and with analyze max von mises stress:
And some max forces:
