Panopticon 2020.0 Now Available

Panopticon 2020.0 is a major new release of the platform and we recommend that you begin planning your upgrade now. With Panopticon 2020.0, we have moved to a fully cloud-compatible server-based platform and eliminated the need to install any thick client software on user machines. All functions of the system are handled by the server and are compatible with Linux, Mac, and Windows desktop machines.

Panopticon 2020.0 incorporates the following major changes:

Designer component of the system is now handled by the server. Authorized users can call up the Designer tool as needed to build new dashboards or modify existing dashboards. The new Designer component also provides more streamlined user experience with more intuitive data table management functionality.
Completely new server-side content repository architecture, including automatic sharing of content between servers in multi-server implementations.
New permissioning model and improvements to the administrative user interface enable admins to control exactly which users can move/copy workbooks, upload/download workbook bundles, and access folders containing workbooks and/or data sources.
Faster Python integration with Apache Arrow serialization and improvements to the platform's ability to work with OneTick and Kx kdb+.
