NVH Director and SEAM Contents for Hyperworks 2022 Release

The HyperWorks 2022 release has many new advanced features and enhancements for NVH engineers which cover complete frequency range of analysis.

Below are some of the highlights in the HyperWorks 2022 release:

Optimization in Model Correlation

You can now update the model set-up for optimization to improve the correlation between test results using the options available in the Optimization tab of the Model Correlation utility. Poor modal correlation between test-simulation results can be improved by updating the simulation model.

 

Flexible Rim Support in CDTire

A new option has been added to consider flexible rim in CDTire handling. This advanced feature automatically creates a connection between CDtire and the Flexible rim, and allows you to study the effect of rim dynamics on NVH responses, specifically for Road NVH.

 

Non-Linear Stiffness (Force vs Deflection and Frequency vs Stiffness) of Engine Mounts in Mounts Optimization

The non-linear stiffness of mounts in terms of Force Vs Deflection or Frequency Vs Stiffness in the Mounts Optimization utility can now be specified. This new functionality allows users to simulate the real-life stiffness behavior of engine mounts for the prediction of mount displacements and reaction forces for different operating conditions.

 

General Signal Processing for Aero-Acoustics Simulations

You can now predict NVH responses for aero-acoustic use cases using the new signal processing feature.
