3D Mesh Refinement

I have a model that consists of both 2D and 3D elements.

There is a discontinuity in the stress results in the 3D elements adjacent to the joint between the 2D and 3D elements:

I'd like to refine the solid mesh near the interface. How can I locally refine the 3D elements?

not an easy task.

You could use the 'split' panel.

But for your model, honestly, it looks easier to redo the mesh with refinement.
