Problems during making rigid groups in Motionview
Hi colleges,
I have a lot of problems when I'm triying to making rigid groups, in several ocasions, when I want to add different bodies making a group, there are parts that add to it without cklicking them, or some parts are added to other different groups that are created before. In some occasion a lot of bodies was grouped in an "non-existing" rigid body, merging as an only body, without the possibility of separate them, making me to delete the file and start from zero.
Someone else has this type of problems?

Hi Carlos,
Which version of MotionView are you using? Could you provide an example file that you are experiencing this with?

Hi Christopher,
Due to confidentiality a canno't to share the file with the problem, but I advice that the problem appears specially when I create a group, I hide this group (to have better view to create the other new groups) and I create the new, it seems, that it selects other parts (from another groups) that are not shown, and include it, or make problems between bodies.
If I create the groups without hiding any part or previous group, I don't find the problem.

Hi Carlos,
I did find an issue where you can still select bodies that were already retained in a rigid group in the advanced selector. I will report this to the developers asap.
When you hide the specific group, is that rigid group still selected in the Model browser when you select the rigid group tool?
If so, MotionView thinks you are updating that rigid group.
Try selecting a different entity besides the rigid groups or select the Rigid Group "folder".
Another thing that you could do besides rigid group is merge body. Select the bodies in the Model Browser, right click and select "Merge Bodies".

Hi Christopher,
Yes, if you take care of no select another group during you rigid group creation, you can aviod to add undesired bodies to the new group that you are creating, but in some occasions I find parts that are added without having selected another group.
I can't reproduce this effect in a file that I've created, if I can, i will post it here.
Thanks!
