Hello,

I use the osm file for urban database creation. I would like to use the image obtained from open source as the base for the 3d building structure. How can we create the image as the base for the 3d file.

When i import the osm file how can i add the ground image as well.

    Hello there Celia, i hope you are well.

    In order to use some image as background on your scenario, you should follow those steps:

    *First, at the menu bar, click on [Images] >> [Configuration] (this wil open the Image Configuration window)

    *Then, click on [Add] Button and select the image desired for background;

    *Adjust the image through the Image Properties window and click on [Apply] button.

    Although it is possible to adjust the image through the text boxes in Image Properties (even allowing enable or disable the lock ratio); an easier way to adjust it is through the options [Images] >> [move image] and [Images] >> [scale image] (or also their corresponding buttons, easily identified as little squares which has "BMP" on it, at the tool bar).

    Finally, it is also interesting to mention at menu bar, click on [Settings] >> [Local Settings...], it will open settings window. It is recommended to click on the [Fill Objects] checkbox for a better view of the database.
