Hello,

my company provides us access to HyperMesh through a ThinLinc environment, on a Linux operating system. Every time I open HyperMesh, I face some annoying graphic glitches such as small transparent windows. How can I get rid of them?

How can I solve them?

    Hello,

such glitches are frequent on configurations where the Linux environment is used with the default desktop environment for server usage, generally Xfce. For such cases, there may be some conflicts between remote visualization libraries and Xfce components, especially the compositing.

As a starter, please keep in mind that Xfce is a light Linux desktop which is perfectly suited for remote applications which does not require performant graphic resources, but Altair does not support officially this desktop environment.

If you still want to proceed with Xfce, you can run the xfwm window manager options (command : xfwm4-tweaks-settings) and turn off “ Enable Display Compositing”:
