How to prevent Group Footer field value from replicating on subsequent detail fields?

Hi all:

I have a report where a certain trapped group footer field (ie., email id) sometimes shows on the report only when the field has a value. I obviously want to capture the email id an related the email id only with the appropriate detail field record. The problem is when the email Id is present, the Monarch model replicates the email id value to the next detail record which should show as blank or (null).

How to prevent Group Footer field value from replicating on subsequent detail fields?

Hi Al,

You may wish to explore the Clearing Template. (See https://help.altair.com/2023/monarch/help/Clearing_Template.htm)

Activating the Clearing Template feature on your Group Footer Template, and specifying that the data from the Group Footer should be cleared as soon as the (say) Detail Template is matched, I think you can achieve what you wish.
