Can Summaries (incl. Heading, Subtotals, colored highlighting, etc.) be created in DPS, same as with Monarch Classic?

I am long time Monarch Classic user, now wanting to do more using DPS.  Can Summaries  (incl. Heading, Subtotals, colored highlighting, etc.)  be created in DPS, same as with Monarch Classic?

Or is it best to use Monarch Classic with DPS workspace output to create Summaries?

    Hi Al,

     

    The short answer is yes, you can create Summaries in DPS, they are just done under the 'Analyze' tab. You can do Subtotals, Totals etc.

    But, there are a few features that haven't carried over such as highlighting, and the Page Setup such as Header Layout, Footer Layout, etc.

     

    So depending on your needs the DPS Analyze tab to create a summary might be sufficient. If you have a need for the highlighting and page setup features, then I would recommend exporting as a CSV from DPS and importing that CSV into Classic to take advantage of those features.
