Inconsistent ODBC Connection to AS400 Data Tables

Hello All:

I have several Monarch Models connected to AS400 data tables via ODBC connection.  Originally,  I mapped a subset of the available fields for use in the Models.  Subsequently, for additional data requirements, I added several fields from the AS400 data tables.  My problem is the additional fields are not consistently maintained in the database link.  I have checked the embedded AS400 login id and password in the ODBC connection and there is no problem there.

Hopefully I have described my problem well.  Has anyone else experienced such problem and have recommended fix?

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hi Al,

I'm not familiar with AS400, but I do have a question: Are you using Monarch Classic, or Data Prep Studio? There should not be a difference, but there might be.

    Hi Al,
You may try redoing the connection to AS400 from scratch.  Create a new model, connect to the AS400 using the ODBC and select fields that you need for your model.  Add any filters, sorts, calculated fields, summaries, etc, that you created in the original model to the new model.
