RBE2 connections on 2nd order 3D elements
I have created a 3d tetra mesh and converted my elements to 2nd order. However, when I create a RBE2 connection, only the 'basic' nodes of the 3d elements are connected and not all (i.e. the nodes at the mid points of the element edges). One might argue that there is no need to connect these nodes, but is there a way to 'force' the RBE connection to include these nodes?

Thank you for your replies. In my first post I forgot to mention that mid nodes are NOT selected if you choose nodes by geometry (for example the nodes that are associated with a specific curve or line). I know that you can select them one by one or by path (this is so PATRAN method /emoticons/default_smile.png' srcset='/emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x' title=':)' width='20' /> ), but it is not very convenient process. Same thing when you try to count the nodes laying on a surface or curve. The middle nodes are not counted.

It's because mid nodes are not associated on the line
when you change to 2nd-order tetras, toggle to 'midside nodes projected to geometry'
