Connector (seemingly) failed - adhesives

Hello!

I'm currently working on FEA of a composite flap. Since it is a sandwich panel I would like to glue the honeycomb core to the layup. I have extruded the honeycomb from the 2D elements with 3D elements just like so:

The honeycomb is much thicker than the layup - I've decided to leave no gap between the 2D and 3D mesh:

I would like to glue the two components together with an even, thin (0.2mm) coat of glue. I've selected the interface and parameters:

The result I got presents as follows:

I can see the glue-related RBE3 and solid elements were created, but at the same time I'm getting a notification about a failed connection. In the connector browser upon further inspection i noticed the following message:

Is there anything I can do about this or at least display the faulty elements? I'm not really interested in stresses in the adhesive - will leaving the connection as it is work? Thank you in advance!

It is possible some elements did not find a match and those failed. But if the portion of the model you want connected shows the FE elements for connection, it should be fine.
