Hello!I'm looking to connect a CBEAM element to one of CQUAD4 nodes. Is it possible to model the connection just like on the picture attached? Or is it a must to introduce RBE2 elements in the place of the connection? Thank you
You can apply it that way. Just understand you will have a concentration at that node. But it will transfer force/moment at that node.
