Removal of dotted lines after unspliting surfaces

When they are dotted, they are not 'unsplit', just suppressed, you can hide them by unchecking the suppressed box during editing
Or... to really unsplit (remove the edge completely), you can use unsplit (dropdown next to split)
NB. to do this, you will need to first unsuppress the edge (back to green/shared in topology display)
But I would normally do as you have done and suppress instead, functionally it does the same thing for mesh generation/seeding, and you have more flexibility to go back.
Why do you need to remove them completely?

The only reason I wanted them surpressed is due to the fact that after I project lines on the surface (for further definition of composite layup) they cannot be selected as one. Each blue dotted line starts a new segment thus making the process of line selection more troublesome.
