Activating simple averaging for envelope subcase.

Hello all. I cannot take the envelope of simple average subcase in hyperview 2019. I get the following error: For envelope subcase, averaging is disabled.

Please guide me how to solve the issue in hyperview 2019.

    Hi Rachit,

    Since an envelop contours the result values from across various subcases, that may or may not be related to each other, averaging the results would not provide a meaningful results. With that in mind, this capability is not allowed in HyperView.
    We recommend you visualize the results on the elemental level.

    Is there a specific use case you are trying to emulate?

    Hi Chayan, thanks for your reply. Actually, we have found that the average stresses are close to the stresses we observe on the actual component. That is the reason why we use a simple average and then envelope it.

    This is possible in hyperview 2017 and even in hyperview 2020 after an environment variable change. But I am not able to do it in hyperview 2019.

    Do you know any way in which I may create an envelope of simple average subcases?
