renumbering before solve

I know it's good habit to renumber node and element after finishing mesh for one component. My question is for the whole model which has about 30 componenets. Is it still good to renumber everything (nodes, elements, partID, material ID, node set, etc)before export to solver? Will this have effect to the results somehow?
Thanks.

    Ryanzhao,

It is best to renumber the nodes and elements before exporting, Firstly if you are already renumbering component by component there could be duplicate ids and this must be avoided by renumbering the entire model.

Renumbering will also avoid 'field length exceeded' errors and several other errors that could be caused by wrong numbering.

As the Hyperworks student guide says ( Practical Aspects of Finite Element Simulation - A Student Guide )

'Renumber nodes, elements, properties etc. before export operation :
Frequent import /export operations could lead to a very large number for the nodes and element IDs.
Some softwares refuse to read the file if the node/element IDs are greater than a specific limit. This
could be avoided by renumbering the nodes, elements etc.'
