Shrink Wrap

Hi,
Shrink wrap meshing is used to mesh models when high precision models are not required say for example: engine components, FEA for bio-medical applications, etc..
Please refer to the HM-3150: Meshing a Model Using Shrink Wrap tutorial to learn about shrink wrap using HyperMesh.
You can find the tutorial in Altair HyperWorks Help documentation.

The feature option doesn't appear to work. I have tried meshing the component and creating feature edges. Feature edges are ignored during the shrink wrap meshing. I see that a course stl model is used in the example. I exported a mesh as stl ascii from Simlab then imported into HW but again this didn't seem to allow feature edge preserve. Could you give an example of how the feature preserve option is used? Thanks
