Hi,
I like to get a 3D Hex mesh between two parallel surfaces ,
this connection should follow a 180% drill line.
The shown 3D mesh was done with
3D --> line drag

How can I get a 3D hex mesh between the two parallel ends with a 180° drill?
(w/o bounding solid/ surfaces, only with a drag line)

Thanks

P.S. Problem is shown on left side with gap between end - hex and target surface/ mesh

    If I understand correctly you are starting with two parallel surfaces and a 180 degree drill line, you need to create a 3d hex mesh between these two parallel surfaces, on using 3d> line drag you are able to create a solid mesh between the two surfaces but the solid hex mesh does not meet the parallel surface on the other end.

    I would use 3d > solid map > line drag for this purpose and select the parallel surface elements as elements to dragand elements to match.

    Try it with more than one drill line, and make sure the lines connect the corresponding elements/nodes in both the face elements.
