Question about .mat file generated by FEKO

I am using a student version of FEKO, and I have a problem while trying to export the impedance

matrix from FEKO into MATLAB. I get an error saying that the .mat file might be corrupted .

I would be very grateful if you could help me in this issue.

Hello,

The MAT file that FEKO exports is not a Matlab/Octave file. They share the same extension, but that is just coincidence. FEKO 14.0 does not support reading or writing Matlab/Octave files. The FEKO website contains details about the format of files such as that MAT file (update: the utility is shipped with FEKO 2018 and later versions and there is a section in the user guide that covers this) and also has a utility that can convert MAT flles to ASCII files that you can read (MAT files can be read directly if you are in a Fortran environment).

I am in the process of updating these utilities on the website, so please let me know if I should attach them here.

Dear all,

I would be grateful if you could provide me with the utilities to convert the .mat file into ascii file (as the student Version of FEKO is very limited in terms of the access to the support help or files), knowing that I have on the internet a pdf file entitled (how-to-read-the-.mat-.lud-.rhs-files-and-.str-files), and I tried the provided FORTRAN code but it didn't work, hope you could mention how it should be applied or inserted in the code.

The link that I provided includes an example for MAT file reading in Fortran and also access to the utility that converts the MAT file to an ASCII file that you can read in any language. Maybe you didn't see the utility? It is at the bottom of the page.

Hello,

Using the attached utilities, it shows only one MoM matrix for a single frequency. Is there a way to display all MoM matrices calculated within a frequency range?
