Dear colleagues,

I would like to ask if it is possible to consider nonlinear material behavior in Solidthinking Inspire.

In case it is not, which Altair tools would better suit the topology optimization of parts with nonlinear materials, Hyperworks + optistruct?

Thanks for all

Best regards

Solid thinking Inspire: optimization only works with solid materials, and only considers the elastic behavior of those materials. Rightnow there is no method available to insert the nonlinear material model behaviour inside Inspire.

Yes optistruct is best suited for topology optimization. For more info check the online documentation.

Altair OptiStruct: Structural analysis solver for linear and non-linear structural problems under static and dynamic loadings. (Topology , Topography , Size & shape optimization)

Hyperstudy is not meant for topology optimization.
It is a Multi-Disciplinary Design Exploration, Study and Optimization Software.(provides size & shape optimization, DOE , stochastic studies, Approximation)
