Optimization from modulus of elasticity E,

Hallo,

is it possible in HyperMesh to optimize the parameters modulus of elasticity E, density RHO and poissons ratio NU to achieve certain natural frequencies???

    Hi,

    this can be possible using HyperStudy, where you can give material properties as design variables. Please refer to the HyperStudy module in HyperWorks for more information.

    Material properties can be made as design variables in size optimization using Optistruct (it is not possible in free size optimization, FYI).
