Hey,

i want to simulate some wings with the 'Virtual Wind Tunnel' software. To do so i have to import an CFD(Nastran Fluent)
file out of Hyper Mesh.
Here is the problem. I import my geometry (it's a volume element) in HyperMesh and then i want to export it as SolverDeck with the CFD/Nastran Fluent settings.
By exporting the file there shows up and error Message(picture below) and if i click yes there pops up a second warning(picture below).
I don't really understand the error messages.

Thanks for the help.

    Hi,

Turn on or Unmask the elements/surface(s) of your model. in model browser under components turn on the elements if they are turned off.

if the elements/Surface(s) are masked, please unmask and export the model file.

As help says, you need a surface mesh and not a volume mesh.

The geometry of the vehicle is described by a surface mesh model, which needs to be of good quality, for example no extremely sliver elements, and must not contain any free edges. In other words, the model needs to be water tight.

Please then create a good surface mesh, display the elements as described above while exporting.
