Supports and torques
Hello,
how can i apply supports intelligent? For example i have an baseplate, which is leaded between two guides and positioned by two detent pins in several holes.
Can solidthinking Inspire securely optimize parts, which are loaded with torques?

I am sure Inspire can optimize parts loaded with torques, make sure the loads and supports are applied to non design regions.

I have uploaded my files into your dropbox. I tried some ways to reach my goals. The Force is 2000N 279mm above the baseplate. The baseplate is mounted between two guides and fixed by two detent pins. I'm thankful if you can check my attempts.0 -

I do not think I can comment on the magnitude of the loads and supports, these have to be decided by you based on what you know the operating environment of the part will be.
however I see more interesting results when I use a smaller element size of 2, minimum member size 6 and maximum member size 12. I also added symmetry constraints and the results are as below,
I solved for all loadcases, and to retain 30% mass.
