Hello,

Does anyone know how to apply a force to a different node without recreating it (just updating the point of application)?

Thank you for your help.

    Hi Albain,

One way is to edit in the input deck if you know the node ID. Open the model deck in any text editor.., search for Force and change the node ID.

for instance, if the current load is applied at node ID 624, change it to the desired node location.

Second option using the script 'node load mapper'

select the element to which the node(s) is attached, select the load applied node and give the load points (say 4) and click apply.

this will apply the current load to the four nodes of the selected element and deletes the original load. there after you can delete the unnecessary loads manually.
