To apply a torque in hollow shaft. You have to use a rigid element RBE 2 create the rigid element using center node as independent and the other as dependent in this rigid element free the rotational DOF and apply the moment in center of the node (independent)

would you please elaborate what do you mean by 'other as dependent'? I understand that it is the other end of RBE2 but where should I connect the other end? at the circumference?

    Hi Nouroz,

The Independent node should be the center node or you can leave to 'Calculate node'

Dependent nodes are the nodes of the shaft.
