Hi guys,

I have a problem that i Meshed a model and all the meshed part collect under just one part of the assembly. It´s not possible to select a single part with its own mesh. How can I solve this. icon_confused.gif

Another point is that, when I load a Hyper-mesh saved file; I can´t see it, but if i choose it directly ( Open with > Altair...) ; then i can see it and modify. What can I do in this case?

Thanks in advance

    nkoelouna,

The correct procedure is to create different components, make one of them current as relevant and then mesh so that each new mesh is placed in the required current components.

Right now you can select the elements by geoms (click on the yellow elements selector this will open an extended entity selection menu, here select by geoms) then click on the solid containing the mesh.

see extended entity selection methods here to choose one of the other methods

    http://www.altairhyperworks.com/hwhelp/Altair/hw11.0/help/hwd/hwd.htm?help010.htm

you can then use organize to place these elements in the new component collector.

The reason you are unable to see the model is because HyperMesh remembers the last state you saved, in your case the unnamed component collector is masked, you can unmask it by clicking on the geometry and the mesh icons before the name of the collector 'unnamed'

    your initial masked state
