OSSMOOTH --> area ratio

Benoit,
Area ratio is a method of identifying small regions in your ply shape that you get after your free size optimization.
These small regions will be eliminated/filled up with elements during the smoothing process.
Area ratio is the local region area / total design area (real value between 0.0 and 1.0. Default=0.01)
In this context the surface area and the element area is the same thing as the local region can be defined as the area of the number of elements that you think should be eliminated,
So when a ply is originally of a square shape of 1000cm^2 with a design region (area of regions with elements and that of regions which you think can be filled up with elements) of 100cm^2 and you give a ratio of 0.1 then any region within the ply that has a hole less than the size of 10cm^2 will be filled up with elements(material) and those that have a size above this value will remain as a no element region. I would also, from what I understand, expect any region (islands) with areas less than 10cm^2 to be removed.
