select only visible elements

Hello everyone,

 

I am wondering if exist in hypermesh any possibility to select only the visible elements (1D/2D/3D elements).

Hi,

 

You can select displayed elements by configuration.

 

Double click on element selector and select By Config. Make sure you toggled to displayed when in you are in the by config panel.

Hi Prakash Pagadala and thank you for your quick answer.

In the meantime I found exactly the option that I was searching for.

If we try to change the option of selection, on bottom of the selection options I found visible only on/off.

Yes, that works as well. Either ways can be used.

 

Shift + right mouse button is the way to invoke the option.

evsm1982 asked for 'visible' elements, not 'displayed' elements. It's not the same /emoticons/default_smile.png' alt=':)' srcset='/emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x' width='20' height='20'>

'visible' elements are often a sub-set of 'displayed' elements.

My bad. sorry about the confusion. 

 

Any how this option for visible elements is available with the updates for HW desktop.
