Rigid Road to Tire Interaction

Hello!

I can run the model with soft soil tire interaction as shown in image below.

But can't establish the road tire interaction if the road is rigid. 

Please help on the same.

    Hi Ankush,

    Can you please elaborate on how the model can't establish road tire interaction?

    Does the model fall through the road surface?

    Did you change either the road file or the tire file?

    Can you share the model you are trying to simulate?

    Hi Ankush,

    Please make sure if you change the road file, you also update the tire file.

    For soft soil road interaction you should be using the softsoil tire property files. Example in the .tpf you will see FUNCTION_NAME = 'mbdtire::SOFTSOIL'

    When you are using rigid roads, please update the tire. You can use the example tires in the installation directory. 

    C:\Program Files\Altair\2023\hwdesktop\hw\mdl\autoentities\properties\Tires\MF_SWIFT
