How to multiply a load case by the surface of elements?

Hi everybody !

I am using heat flux on Hypermesh. If I understood right, elements fluxes are in W/mm² (or W/m², it depends on your units). I would like to get the heat flux in W. So, I have to multiply the heat flux by the surface of elements where heat flux is applied. I know that I can create derivated loadcase or derivated results, but I don't know how I can get the surface of each element.

Moreover, I created a local system on my part and I would like to get the heat flux in this local system. I tried "Resolved in" with my User system, but I cannot change the direction of the result type... Do you have an idea ?

    To get the area of an element, you can use the Result Math (Derived Results) that you've mentioned before.

    MAKE SURE to load your .fem file as model, and use the 'Advanced' math template while loading your results.

    In Result Math, you can use the 'Model' library and add 'Area'.

    So if you have a heaf flux, you can just create a new result, such as Heat_flux*Area

    Heat flux is probably available under the 'Table' of model results.
