Cutting off data
When opening a tab delimited file it appears Monarch is cutting off (setting the data length to a certain size based on maybe what it think the column contains). The column of data is storing phone numbers but some numbers have the X.(short for EXT) than a few digits for the extension number following the 10 digit phone number. It seems to be a length issues as I have manually manipulated the file and if I remove characters from the front of the phone number the full extension will eventually appear. For Example (###) ###-#### X.123 (This is what is being input into Monarch by clicking on the file and stepping through the import process.) What Monarch is returning to me in the table is (###) ###-#### X. Opening the properties of the column and expanding the "Display" size larger doesn't help.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm using Monarch pro 10.0

Chris, thank you for the suggestion as that was it. I was initially going to "Field Properties" and there was nothing there to change the "Data Length". Once I clicked on the "Field List" Icon while on the table the "Table Properties" displayed and I increased the "Data Length" field and then all the data was displayed in the table which is awesome..
The scary thing is what in Monarch is causing it to automatically determine "data length" size that is less than what the actual data size really is in a delimited file. I would think this would be straight forward thing when it comes to a Horizontal Tab (HT) delimited file. I looked at the file in Binary just in case there was some non-printable character causing the issue and there was nothing.
I use Monarch on a daily basis and have been using it for a very long time and this is the first time I have noticed it doing this. I know I know, Don't even say it as I have no control over the company I work for whether or not they keep me on the current version or not.. All I can say is I try.
Thank You Again

Monarch Pro v10 is several years old (2009?) and I don't remember all of the screens anymore, but the display size has nothing to do with the template field length. Do you see anything in the table properties that refers to "Size"? That is the property you would need to modify.
FYI. The current release of Monarch is v2021 (v17).

Glad to hear it. Not really sure what is happening. I did find my VM with Monarch Pro v10.5 and it does expand to the correct length. I also have the option to verify the table data:
