How to check the property of any element?

I have imported a .dat file used in NASTRAN. The model has 185 properties, which means 7 properties per color. I'd like to know if there is the possibility to click on any element and visualize the properties assigned to that element. I tried in the property tab but I couldn't find anything interesting.

Hi

In HyperMesh, NexGen, you can select the properties, hitting 'p' couple of times. 

with that , as you LMB click the element, it will highlight the property in the browser.

or you can do RMB, and the pop up windows you do edit and it will show the property used
