I am trying to export the 2D shell elements of my model for 3D printing. I used "find faces" function to generate the shell elements. However, some of these elements do not show up in the file, i.e I get an empty stl file. Any idea?
are these tria elements that you're trying to export?
What option are you using on exporting? some images might help.
Have you tried File>Export>Geometry>STL?
