Strain on Shell (skin) is showing higher than solid for same node id?

I am solving one of the FE model where I have skin element created for Solid element. 
Solid element- CHEXA

Skin Shell element (With thickness 0.001): CQuad4 

I am observing higher strain on shell compared to solid element. I can understand there is difference in those values due to averaging method for shell vs Solid. But I am surprised to see this much difference. Can you please help me out here?

The solver result is based on the element centroid.
