EDEM Simulator Crash

Hi all,

The software crashed without any error report when I clicked the simulator button. This also happens when running with the exmaple file in the installation package. I'm using EDEM 2022.0 student edition and the version number is 8.0.0. Does anyone know where the problem is?

Hi,

There is a bug that we've identified with the Student edition causing the crash you describe. This should be fixed for the next EDEM release.

The only workaround I'm aware of is using a previous version. We're aware of this issue with EDEM 2021.2 onwards so I would recommend trying 2021.1 or earlier.
