Dear friends,

I have a model calculated in Abaqus, and I want to analyze differences between this software and Optistruct. When I import the *.inp file into Hypermesh, the model is not imported properly. Why is happening this? I attach two pictures.

Thank you very much for your attention.

Regards,

JJJ

    Most likely your abaqus mode has *part, *instance structure. You need to export your abaqus in flattened format.

    Dear friends,

    Here I found the solution to my problem:

    https://abaqus-docs.mit.edu/2017/English/SIMACAECAERefMap/simacae-c-dbsflatteninput.htm

    In Hyperview, is it possible to visualize results from a *odb obtained in Abaqus?

    Regards.

    Hi JJJ,

    Launch Hyperview -> Input the model and result file path

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>image.thumb.png.63bbfae652f25c249bde68705969ce75.png

    Click on Contour -> Select Result type, Result Component etc and press Apply to visualize the contour.
