Hello,
I try to define in Hyperworks the total load applied to a face on a 3d model. ¿How can I do that? Thank you very much.
Hi,
You can apply total load on a face in 2 ways:
Hello Koushik,
Thank you for your reply. I preffer the first option, and I want to know if I need to count the total number of nodes on the surface.
On the other hand, how can I create the RBE3 element?
Hello JJJ
You can count nodes (and all other elements) by Tools --> count --> ...
And creating a rbe3-element by 1D --> rbe3 --> ...
I think creating a rbe3-element and introducing the force over the centre node is the recommend version.
best regards
Tommy
Hi JJJ,
For your question on how to create RBE3 element, kindly look at the attached video. In the video, a dependent node is created and translated. You can also choose to calculate dependent node by HyperMesh itself.
