Rigid shell mesh and Spring

Hi,

I am trying to model a rigid pin to interact with a larger shell model. To try this i modelled the pin only for simplicity. I created a surface model and meshed it with rigid mesh. Created a rigid body card and assigned the elements as a set and also created a Ref node for the constraint.

I get an error saying that the CQUAD4 elements assigned by the rigid mesher is missing a property, where am I going wrong?

Also, I would like to allow for the pin to rotate as it will be attached to a structure, so I have a HMspring connected to the Ref node and the other spring node fully fixed. The HMspring DOF 4 is ticked as that will be the axis of rotation and a stiffness K calculated to allow a certain amount of rotation. Is this the correct way to applied a spring with a moment to allow only a certain amount of rotation?
