Hi Chuck,
I tried it with an Excel external lookup file in Monarch 14.3 and I could see the first 255 columns.
What 'sub' version of Monarch and file formats are you using?
As a workaround, would it be possible to 'prep' your external lookup as a separate process into a more manageable file?
Regards,
Steve.

Trying to create an external lookup to a table with a large number of columns. On the External Lookup Fields tab, Monarch 14 only seems to show the first 100 columns and is not showing me the column I'm looking for. Is this a limitation or is there a configuration somewhere?

I am running 14.3.1.7681. The table I'm trying to access is in a Sybase database. I have since tried a table in a SQL Server database and did retrieve more than 100 columns so it appears it could be something to do with Sybase.Steve Caiels_21881 said:Hi Chuck,
