Degrees of freedom for independent RBE3 nodes

Hi community,

 

is there a way within HyperMesh to define the degrees of freedom for the independent nodes of an RBE3 element? They're automatically set to DOF123.

 

I work with Nastran and can manually edit the bdf file after export but this is most often very impracticable.

    Hello FBa,

     

    You can edit the element RBE3->Update->dofs and switch 'select to type' into 'set individual'.

    Now you can set the dofs and update the independent node. See picture.
