Need some information regarding element normal.
As per my knowledge element normal represents the positive side of shell elements but when I display both color as well as vector display opposite nature observed. Element normal representing negative side(i.e. red)
I defined thickness in negative direction(i.e. SNEG) and it is offsetting the elements outwards that means HM is following color display convention. Is it HM bug or something I am missing?

    Hi @sumitbabbar427

    In HM RED represents Positive.

    Thank you for update.

If red is positive (which means vector representing face is positive) then why upon defining SNEG in property element thickness offset in outward/positive direction? Refer picture shared earlier

    Hi @sumitbabbar427,

the explanation offered by @Prakash Pagadala is consistent with the screenshots you presented.

How about just reversing the normals?
