Multiple load case topology opt

Hi, I would like to know how the software works when I run a topology optimization with a multiple load cases applide. Does the software apply all of them istantly ( so the result is a case equal to the sum of the sigle load case) or it considere them in other way? Thank you

Hi,

it dependes on your setup.

 

If you have only 1 Loadcase and all your forces there, then the solver will take into account as all forces summed/combined.

 

Now, if you create multiple loadcases, then the solver will consider each of them indepently.

It will optimize your design based on these different loadcases, but taking all of them into account. This is the prefered way.
