Error 240

When I do the simulation there is an error.

ERROR 240: A triangle is smaller than the model tolerance.

Does anyone know how to fix it?

Hi @Liu Xiao ,

It sounds like there are extremely small faces and/or edges in your model. I would advise to clean up/simplify the geometry first.

The OUT file will contain details about the error message and give the triangle number.

Then you can lookup the triangle number in POSTFEKO using "Find elements" and see where the problem area in your model is.

This error often happens when you have imported geometry or meshes of poor quality.
