How to automatically generate penta elements without degeneration

Hi,

I am trying to mesh the model in Hypermesh and import the mesh directly into COMSOL. Some parts of the mesh include penta elements. 

If I generate the elements with top and bottom faces with the linear solid function, these elements are degenerated hex elements.

The problem is that COMSOL does not accept degenerated elements.  Is there other way to generate these penta elements besides manually drawing them?

I believe the linear solid tool between two quads will create coincident nodes at the converged location.

I recommend you use spin from a input of quads

or drag from an input of tria
