Hi, in solid map if I want to mesh a single component and I select one volume under the voice volume to mesh I can choose between surfs and solid. Which is the diffrence between these choices?

    Hi,

the difference is surfs allows to choose surfaces that enclose a volume. In other words, even if a solid is not created, Hypermesh will recognize if a set of surfaces contains a closed volume. In this way, the creation of solid from surfaces (see attached image) is not necessary to carry out solid map.
