Does Monarch V9 Pro work running Win 11 O/S?

Hello!

I am a long-time user of DataWatch Monarch software.  I currently use Ver 9.01 Pro.  Recently, I reinstalled the software on a new PC using Win 11 O/S.  Now, my project files will not export to MS Excel formats.  I repeatedly get error message saying **EXPORT FAILED **.  I have tried to re-install/repair the installation, but no luck.

Any suggestions on how to resolve?

Thanks for any help or direction here.

Thank you.

    Hi Will,

I'm afraid Monarch version 9 has not been supported for many years.  I would recommend you to upgrade to the latest version (version 2022).  Although Monarch version 2022 is technically not certified to run with Windows 11, we would _expect_ it to run there and could help you with any issues you encountered.

The upcoming Monarch 2023 version _is_ certified to run with Windows 11.

Check what version of Office you have installed, 32-bit or 64-bit. If you have 64-bit, that might be causing the issue.  No guarantees, but worth a  try to install the 32-bit version of Office instead.

I still use v10.5 with Windows 11.  As said above, I use MSO 32bit and I must export in the "Old" MSO formats - xls and mdb.  Until I changed the files types I had the same error.
