I'm trying to create a radially periodic triangular mesh - a slice of a disc. Is there a tutorial that demonstrates the Periodic Mesh dialog?

Thank you. I've also found this and have finally learned how to use it correctly. I'm slowly understanding how to fix some error messages, but there is one that I haven't figured out, yet:
