create thin shell with property (thickness) from thickshell/solid elements

Hi, 

I have a tapered plate made of solid/thick shell elements. 

I wanted to create a thin shell 2D elements with predefined nodal thickness (captured from thick shells or solid elements).

I appreciate your help on this.
