Is it possible to display particles only in the plane?

Hello everybody,
My geometry is a tube, however, I want to display particles and agglomerates in the xy plane. I tried using the Clipping option, but I was unable to locate an option that would both eliminate other particles and display the particles inside the xy plane.
Could you please advise me in this field?

Regards,
Fatemeh

    Hi Fatemeh,

It is difficult to visualize what are you looking at without pictures.

However, you can try the below option.

Select the Clipping plane and enter 1/-1  in the appropriate axis.

if you enter 1/-1 in Z it means that geometry, particle, contacts, and bonds will be clipped and visualized inside. details

After following the above steps still, if you face any issues then please check at the red circle region particle, geometry is the tick mark checked or not if not checked please choose tick mark and then verify it.

    Hi Fatemeh,

In the analyst you can create a cylinder bin that occupies the same region as your tube, then you can use that bin to only display the particles inside of it. This way when you use the clipping plane you'll achieve the visualization you're looking for.

    Best regards,
