Why do EDEM and Fluent suddenly stop working normally?

Hello everybody,

I coupled Fluent and EDEM. After a while Both software eventually stop working without any errors.
Its more than 5 hours that they stopped working.
(Both of them work well and converge individually)

(Please see the attachments).
Do you have any idea about it?

When you say stop, do you mean there is a crash or the simulation just stops advancing?

Hi Richard,
There was no crash at first. It suddenly stopped working and stayed that way for about 1.5 days. Both Fluent and EDEM crashed after 1.5 days.

Are you sure it's not just a running out of memory issue? I'd maybe try the simulation again but open Task Manager as the simulation progresses and see if you're using all the available system memory. If there's not an immediate crash but the simulation gradually grinds to a halt and then crashes then this would be my first hunch.
